By purchasing a template, becoming a Template Affiliate, or buying templates for your customers, you hereby agree to the following terms and conditions, as acknowledged during checkout and/or by signing up as an affiliate.


Template Shop Terms:

Please note that due to the nature of our products (digital downloads with immediate delivery), Coyote Haus does not offer refunds on template purchases. By completing your purchase, you agree to these terms at checkout. For payment plans, it is legally required to complete all payments. We understand that issues can arise; therefore, we provide a 5-day grace period for late payments, after which a $25 late fee may be applied per month. If you’re facing difficulties in meeting payment deadlines, please reach out to us at hello@coyotehaus.com for assistance – we’re here to help!

In instances where payments are not completed and fall into default after 30 days, we reserve the right to inform Showit to remove the template from your website. Further, we may take necessary actions if there is any illegal reselling of our templates.

Coyote Haus templates cannot be resold or altered for resale unless accompanied by a Commercial Use License [See Commercial License information below]. This ensures the integrity and exclusivity of our designs for all our valued customers.


Important Notice for Designers and Creatives:

As a designer, it's essential to respect the creative work behind the templates offered in our shop. These templates cannot be claimed as your original work [See Commercial License information below]. If you opt to use a template from our collection for your business website and customize it, we require a credit in the footer or on the site credit page.

'Template Design by Coyote Haus. Customized by [Your Name].'

Additionally, if you're adapting a template for a client that was purchased from our shop, the same credit must be visibly included in the website's footer.

Commercial Use License:

At Coyote Haus, we provide a Commercial Use License for select products. When you purchase a template under this license, it's not mandatory to include the 'Template design by Coyote Haus' credit when creating for your customers. However, we require that you significantly modify the template before using it for your purposes. Please note that the original template, in its unaltered state, cannot be resold or distributed in any form.


Copyright Infringement

Under copyright law, the standard for infringement is “substantial similarity.” Substantial similarity means an average observer would recognize that the second work takes copyrightable authorship from the first one. - Linda Joy Kattwinkel, Graphic Artists Guild.


Report DMCA Infringement

The Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) protects website owners against others copying and publishing text or images to other websites.
